Mia turns 3

Mia turned 3 (a little over a month ago, but who's counting)! My little girl is in LOVE with elephants so a birthday celebration at the circus was in order. Shawn and I have always protested the circus but since the Zoo does not offer elephant rides we abandoned our protest so that our littlest could experience her dream.  I only hope that these animals are treated kindly, and I have to admit that we had a blast!

"Harry" the elephant was a bit old and bony.  Abby and I were a little terrified but Mia was in Heaven.  She started petting and talking "elephant"  to her new friend during our 30 second ride. Oh, and the giggles, they were priceless!

Abby was more at home on the pony.  Mia passed on the pony ride, she was still flying high from the elephant ride to even consider anything else. She simply said "I only ride on elephant".
I am all for crazy cool human tricks, however making a tiger jump through a ring of fire seems a little much to me.
Abby asked if this was safe for her to do!
Happy Birthday Amelia!

Fun Facts about Mia:
